M.C. Escher. He drew Hands Drawing Hands. He was a Dutch artist. The work is actually a lithograph. A printmaking process that uses a high quality grease crayon on limestone. The stone is then etched with acid so that when ink is rolled on it the ink only sticks to the grease crayon and not the smooth litho stone. Escher loved drawings that fooled the eye
and made the impossible look possible. He also did many tessellation drawings and impossible structures using linear perspective.

dots would only "read" as line if the space between the dots was small enough for the brain to make a visual connection between them. Do an experiment and you will soon see....some groups WILL connect and others will seem not to. The series of dots need to be close enough together and
also make sense as an organized line.

Even though
the video says that it instructs on the elements of art on an elementary school level (and that I'm certainly not in elementary school anymore), I found this video very simple, informative, and helpful. Thanks for sharing!
