Almost reminiscent of short animation films nominated at the Oscar Awards, DeVotchKa's "100 Other Lovers" uses stop-motion to depict the heart wrenching tale of a of a Babushka and her collection of birds. DeVotchKa utilizes a grand scheme of trickery through use of an upbeat, head-bopping melodic line accompanied by sad, woeful lyrics.
