This reveals nothing about the series except that it features explosions, screaming
children and vaguely judo-christian mumbo-jumbo. In other words, it tells us just about everything.

I became aware of this show when I was
a kid. It was on a VHS of "Destroy all Monsters!" as one of the anime trailers; the other being "Battle Angel." I even saw part of the first (I think) episode when it premiered on Toonami.

Evangelion as it's an absolute cult classic then watch FMA, both of these animes I would strongly recommend (be warned though, a lot of people were very angry with the ending to Evangelion. Personally I loved it but
you have been warned.)

I've watched both just recently and ... it's Evangelion the series + End of Evangelion. It stands far above anything I ever saw. Full Metal Alchemist is good but Evangelion is exeptional, one of it's kind. I cannot describe
it any better. You just have to see it and try to understand it, really :) World would be a better place if everybody could see it just once i think :)

Too bad there isn't a trailer for NGE that can prepare the viewer for the mindfuck shift
with the last two episodes. I saw the series in its entirety over 8 years ago and I am still at a loss for words.

Funny, that's EXACTLY how I found out about NGE too. I was reaal young, rented Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters and saw this trailer along with
Battle Angel Alita. Crazy what you remember huh?
