things are missing in this movie 1: the lead role should be given to elijah wood(frodo) 2: wiggo mortenson 3: the great "orlando bloom"
With Viggo I guess you would want him to be Aragorn again? I think in this story he is 10 or something. I do think that Orlando Bloom could have a nice appearance since he is elf kind and is the son of the King of Mirkwood.
In 48fps?
exactly right in every detail. The START of LOTR is 60 years after "Hobbit," and Frodo was actually 33 at that time ... though he didn't leave the Shire on the quest to destroy the ring until he was 50. Other than that, you're spot on.
the theaters. About 10 minutes of footage at 48fps was recently previewed to a select audience, and apparently almost nobody liked it ... the people (to their own surprise) found that it was TOO real ... as in it was more apparent that the CGI was CGI, the sets looked more like sets, makeup was
more apparent as makeup. Maybe after PJ and his editors have worked some editing magic it'll look better ...

think there will be plenty of opportunities to view in the new format, especially the 3D version. (In the cinema by us, Avengers has been presented in three different formats since coming out.)
