    A 'great dub' as you said would have these 3 things. 1. Great voice acting. This is not great. The delivery is stiff and the voice is half bored. Also, Freeza sounds like a chain smoking
     tranny. 2. Decent scripting. Part of the reason this dub is so bad is the terrible scripting. Granted, you don't have to be dead on to what they're saying, BUT this is not what Goku is saying. Goku would NEVER say this. He's not smart enough to conjure up a sentence like this.

     are fine you don't need that much experience, but this was 1999, when these talentless American hacks had no experience. They all sucked and this is an objective fact. TBF, they STILL suck.

     just awful. The saiyan saga was fine, and then it just snowballed into horrible from there. It's like they don't write the lines, they just start dubbing and make it up as they go along. I cringe through so much of it. Just listened to Ocean Dub ssj3 transformation today...oh man. so bad. but
    it's what you're used to, and you're not a voice actor, so it's all good.

    But, Ocean DIDN'T make up their own lines. They never do. They just simply provide the audio, via voices. The companies that hire Ocean(Westwood Media and Funimation) provide the scripting. Hence, why in EVERY single show Ocean do voices in it clearly reads, produced by so and so in ASSOCIATION with Ocean Studios/Productions. Yes, I understand Kirby Morrow was rather
     bad, but come one, Schemmel's only slightly bad.
