| @FunFriendKid1 yes Shinji is a lot more mature in Rebuild and still kind as well. His feelings for both Asuka and Rei seem far more genuine then in the series when it kind of came off as just a sexual attraction (though i'm not saying that's all there was to it), between Shinji almost dieing trying to save Rei and doing the same trying to save Asuka and willing to face execution to avenge her. |

| @michaeljacksonyall Well she doesn't open up completely but we see how she is now accepting people such as the scene **SPOILERS** where asuka is talking to Misato and she says that she is starting to accept other people in her life. Also when she talks to Rei and asks if she likes Shinji. We see Asuka trying to learn how to cook which is an indication of opening up to others. But yes...Im looking forward how the series is gonna end, I am highly enjoying the new material in the movies. |

| @Nebuljr yea I like Shikinami than Soryu, Although her appearance is essentially unchanged from the TV series, her character and personality are noticeably different. Most notably, she talks to and plays with a hand puppet (while Asuka Soryu had a deep hatred of dolls) and is even seen cooking to try to impress Shinji. She does not express any interest in Kaji whatsoever and seems jealous that Shinji likes Rei. |
