i thought impact and mx series were bad because of the graphics compared with the alpha series and z, but they are the only srw for ps2 in that you explode the comand and suport artacks not like in aplha 2 or 3 with the useless platoon attacks... is away better the command attacks
for finishing boses in the last stages

Licensing issues for publishing the game. Many different companies own the rights to the series. I'm not sure which ones but that is the answer my fiance always gives me when I ask the same question.
