    Abacab is a great rock & roll song---> it's got it all---> pounding rythym , dynamic drums ,great
     guitar and Phil Collins singing . I was at the show at the Spectrum and thought it was incredible song then & it still runs chills thru my brain listening to it today! Genesis's music truly holds its own thru the decades, why can;t they come out of retirement SOON. By the way what the hell is an abacab???

    The title is taken from the structure of an early version of the song. Guitarist Mike Rutherford explained in an interview that the band labeled various
     sections of the song with letters of the alphabet, and at one point the sections were ordered A-B-A-C-A-B. Rutherford commented that the completed song no longer followed this format, but the name was kept nevertheless.
